dog harnessesThe Bottom's Up Leash is a quality, 100% nylon, supportive rear end dog harness (dog leash) designed to assist animals with broken bones, arthritis, hip dysplasia, or any other skeletal or muscular problems. It allows the animal to perform bodily functions (urinate and defecate) unencumbered, while being supported by a person who lifts a portion of the animal's weight at a 90-degree angle from the top of the back, in front of the tail area. It works by taking the animal's weight off its hind legs while you walk your dog from the rear. The leash price is USD $34.95, (plus shipping and sales tax where applicable). bottoms up leash

Because the straps have a clearance in design off of the animal's back, the pressure is distributed under the center of its hind legs. This gives the most complete support of the rear hips and upper rear legs. By lifting slightly on the leash, the pet owner can control the amount of weight that is being placed on the animal's hind legs. The animal will still be going through the walking motion and will still be applying pressure on its legs, so the leash acts as an effective therapeutic device.

The sleeves are washable and are made of 100% Neoprene. This leash will not chafe your dog!

What a few of our customers have to say about the Bottom's Up Leash
"Thanks Arnie. My dog loves the leash. He wants to stay out longer and walk further because of it. Next stop is my Vet to let him know."   [More]

"I found the website for the bottoms up leash when I was trying to find something to help my German Shepherd walk. I had never heard of this leash, but I decided to give it a try. It works great and helps her alot! She is 13 and has arthritis in her spine and hips. This leash helps her walk alot further than she could before."   [More]
    Ms. Jackson - Trafford PA
"What a great idea! I've got a 14 yr old with terrible arthritis and strokes which have weakened his back-end. I was toying with the idea of a doggie wheelchair, but he's not really ready for that. We go on long walks and I was so afraid that someday he would not be able to get back. He weighs almost 60lbs, so I didn't look forward to carrying him. With this leash we can probably go back to the beach. I can always hook him up for the walk back up."   [More]
Linda M. - San Francisco, CA
"Your dog harness is one of the best purchases I have ever made for my pet. The harness has given us hope. I am starting my pet on a regime of arthritis supplements along with your leash - which has already helped her condition so far. Thanks so much for your product and for your help on the phone."   [More]
    Michelle - Point Dume
"I learned about your dog leash from a friend of mine. I bought one and it really helps me a lot. I was previously using a set of old bed sheets and that was extremely hurtful to my back. The dog leash harness invention you have is super. Do you offer any other products for senior pets besides your dog leash?"   [More]
