What is the Bottom's Up Leash?
The Bottom's Up Leash helps you help your dysplastic, arthritic, post-surgical, or otherwise disabled dog move more comfortably and safely. The leash works by supporting a portion of the dogs hind legs while they walk, or attempt to go up/down stairs. Unlike a towel under the belly, our product allows your dog to eliminate and keeps you from having to stoop over. For quick cleanup, remove only the padded neoprene sleeves and wash with soap and water.

|"My nine year old German Shepard was a perfect picture of health last summer, romping around like a puppy. As soon as the cold whether hit it seemed like over night he was having a hard time getting up and walking. He's was like a totally different dog. He totally staggered when he walked and totally lost his appetite. Our vet told us it was his arthritis. I bought one of you dog harnesses and now my husband and I are able to get him up and down the stairs of our three level townhome. Your leash has been a huge help. The three of us thank you for this invention!" [More]|

|"I can't tell you what a difference the leash makes. I was finally able to get Cody in and out of the house by myself... without him urinating on me or himself. You guys have a really excellent product. My vet is using a canvas wood carrier that's been modified a bit. It isn't nearly as effective as the leash. Have you marketed this at trade shows? There is such a great demand out there and I'm surprised at how many people are unaware the leash exists. Anyway, thanks for all of your help. Cody is going for acupuncture tomorrow for his ruptured disc. He has regained feeling in his legs, but just can't support himself. We're hoping for the best. You guys are lifesavers." [More]|

|"Seldom do I lobby for new products so you know this is a WONDERFUL product! I only wish it had been around during the last year of my little dog's life. Owners of senior pets and pets with arthritis and hip related conditions will be thrilled to know a product like this exists." [More]|

|"Thank you for contacting me. I used the leash because my lab had degenerative disc disease in her lower back. Unfortunately, it got worse and she had to be put to sleep in March. Your product definitely gave us several months that we would not have had otherwise. Thank you very much. A member of the bouvier list I belong to mentioned your product. I saved his reference because of the age of our Bouvier (13+) and can now use it. I did review other similar products but was attracted to "BottomsUpLeash" because: 1) it seats underneath the pelvis and not around the chest or waist and our dog (as I presume most other elderly dogs) needs hindquarter support, not otal body support, 2) ease of on/off, and 3) the cost is quite reasonable especially considering that realistically, our dog is in the twilight of her life."
